This is a gorgeous brides'
Furisode from mid Showa Period(1926-1989) .
'Misu'(bamboo curtains) are boldly dyed from the right shoulder to the bottom.
Fine and gorgeous embroidery is done in many parts.
Especially, the silver embroidery onto the lovely peony on the left front is so thick it looks three dimensional.
Bottom is padded, and it is worn with the bottom trailing along the floor.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
Lapel is hiro-eri (wide lapel).
Silk hiyoku is attached.
Due to its old age, patinas can be seen all over the ivory base (C).
Photo E shows golden paint partly peeled off.
As for other damages, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It seems difficult to formally wear this anymore.
Still this gorgeous design would be perfect for display purposes.
*Approx background color - ivory
Softness ( Exceptionally Soft,□ Soft, Medium, Comparatively Stiff, Stiff )
