This is a sublime contemporary fukuro obi.
Woven with 'kushi-ori' (comb weaving) technique, its base is wavy patterned.
Its main pattern is cloud shapes having elegant plants such as matsu (pine) and 'manju-giku'(manju shaped chrysanthemum) partially in them.
The golden foil threads partially used in the woven pattern attractively shine.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
There are a few flaws including a faint folding line on this item.
However, they are not disturbing and so this piece is in very good condition.
