This is a gorgeous vintage maru obi.
Exotic phoenix and 'tsuzumi'(Japanese drum) pattern is woven.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.

The side seam is cut and largely opened in places.
So this piece is no longer wearable.
Tesaki end has tears, and it seems not to have enough strength to tie.
Still it will make a striking display or handicraft material!
