This is a vintage stage costume, which was used on kabuki stages of rural district.
Dragon head has cotton lining inside and embroidered with thick twisted gold threads over it, which is giving three dimensional look.
Textile is wool, and clear plastics are added over both eyes.
It is very fragile, and it has many flaws such as tears as the photos are shown.
However, it is a fantastic items for its fabulous embroidery!
