This is a fabulous antique stage haori costume by used traditional drama kabuki.
The 'shokkou-mon' (octagon and rectangle) pattern are woven allover in the color of orange-red background.
Textile is cotton and other fabric blend and has soft smooth touch.
Lining textile is cotton.
Peeling and wrinkles can be seen here and there, and the threads are little unkempt as the photo (I) shown.
Because of its old age, it has some flaws such as smudges and snags. Please refer the photos and sheet for other flaws and details.
It sure has a little used feel but great piece to enjoy its antique taste!
