This is a wonderful full
shibori Furisode dyed in fresh light blue.
'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern is dyed with
shibori (tie-dye) technique.
It is partly embroidered with kinkoma and ginkoma embroidery work.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Lapel is hiro-eri (wide lapel).
As the photos and figure show, it has flaws.
The wears(A) and the smudges in the both sleeve parts (B) are rather outstanding.
The stains in the sleeve parts of both sides, such as (C)
are rather prominent.
Also, the stains in the hip part of the back (I) are rather remarkable. (the other stains are not so disturbing)
The discolorations and stains (G) in the lining are outstanding.
It has other flaws and it seems to be difficult to wear.
It must be a beautiful handicraft material!
