This is a vintage summer ro han'eri, lapel for kimono juban(undergarment).
This piece is made of Chirimen, crepe silk, and has wonderful embroidery work of long 'kikko'(tortoise shell).
This piece was used by a geisha.

Red color is transferred onto white embroidery.
Threads are shown roughly on both sides.
It seems well worn, but it would add a charming antique taste to your outfit for sure!
