This is a flamboyant houmongi kimono in colorful broad horizontal stripes.
Pleasing flowers such as kiku (chrysanthemum) are dyed along with 'tatewaku' (waving lines) pattern.
The tatewaku pattern has silvery paint in places, and fine embroidery is partially applied on the floral pattern.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
Lapel is hiro-eri (wide lapel).
It seems to be from mid Showa Period(1926-1989) .

The right sleeve has several flaws as shown in photo E, F and G.
There are other flaws as well including patinas on the back.

This seems no longer wearable for formal scenes.
Still it would be perfect when you wish to catch everyone's attention around you!
