This is a vintage maru obi with phoenix and chrysanthemum pattern, which is boldly woven.
Textile is blend of silk and jinken(rayon) , and has medium touch.
As the photos and figure show, it has some flaws.
Smudges and the stains in the wrong side of 'maegara'(front patterned part)(C) are rather prominent, but the other stains and discolorations are not so disturbing.
As a whole, it is in very good condition and it can be tied!
