This is an antique
irotomesode in soft lavender from Meiji Period(1868-1912) .
Its bottom shaded into white has kiku (chrysanthemum)-flowered mound pattern dyed.
Textile is silk, but little bit different from usual vintage
irotomesode - weft yarns are rather thick
tsumugi silk. It has soft touch.
There are some flaws such as noticeable wear.
(G) in the figure is not flaw - only red lining is seen through thin fabric.
However, it's still in very good condition for its old age.
It will be a beautiful display.
