Joint Project with Iuchi Shoten * Reprint komon Kimono

This is a brand new komon, which is made by Iushi Shoten san, who is very famous for his unique and casual kimonos and has lots of fans.
He, the representative Iuchi san is good at using PC and ink jet printers, and for this project, he bought the latest ink jet printer, and tried to reprint the antique kimonos on polyester, as precisely as possible.
And we found that new machine and his skill make it possible to make incredibly beautiful reprint of antique kimonos!

This particular piece has a brilliant dyed pattern copied from a vintage meisen kimono -
ballerina is joyfully dancing against its geometrical patterned background which has colorful dots.

With the foremost print technique used, the fuzzy outlines characteristic of meisen woven patterns are precisely expressed.

Textile is soft and static-free polyester.
The treatment of the original one is difficult, but this one is easy to be cared!
