This fukuro obi has tasteful wave pattern, which is woven with tsume tsuzure weaving technique.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of tsume tsuzure silk.

As the photos and figures show, it has a prominent folding lines and some stains.
Otako and maegara(front patterned part) parts also has slight stains (or smudges).
It has some other flaws as photos and figure show. Please check detail photos.

It seems difficult to wear this any more.
It must be excellent handicraft material or interior decor!
