This is a charming vintage summer kimono.
Pretty dianthus flowers are dyed on the turqoise blue background.
Its contrasting color palette is characteristic of vintage items and very appealing.
Textile is ro, summer sheer silk, and it has soft touch.
Lapel is bachi-eri(folded lapel).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimonos from pre WWII.
There is a spot on the left of the collar where looks yellowed with stains (B).
Also, the chest is rather discolored (D).
The left front has some flaws such as discoloration and patinas, but they are faint and not so outstanding.
As for other damages, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Being old, it has surely some flaws.
However, its design is so charming it can't be thrown away yet!
