This is a wonderful embroidery fukusa from Meiji period(1868-1912).
Takasago motif is embroidered elaborately.
Please enjoy its wonderful embroidery details with more photos.
Textile is navy shusu silk and lined with chirimen(crepe) silk.
Stain is largely spread in the upper left corner.
As for other damages, please refer to the photos and the sheet. *A thin tassel is missing.
