This is a fashionable men's juban (undergarment).
Enormous gourd and pieces of
Shogi are dyed with
shibori (tie-dye) technique.
There are also wonderful pictures of horses full of life.
Its design is unique, themed from a Japanese proverb "Hyoutan kara Koma"(a Horse out of a Gourd) which means something said as a joke actually happening.
Pieces of
shogi are also called 'koma' in Japanese.
Textile is plain silk and has soft and smooth touch.
Discoloration can be seen allover.
Both the right and left chests have stains such one in photo B.
The center seam of the lining was pulled sideways and partially cut and loosened making the lining fabric thin along itself.
There are also other flaws such as prominent smudges and stains on the lining.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
