This ivory fukuro obi has a wonderful design.
'Karabana'(imaginary flower in China) pattern is woven as if it was sagara embroidery.
Textile is silk and has soft and comfortable touch.

As the photos and figure show, there are wrinkles and folding lines in places.
The wrinkles in the 'maegara'(front patterned part) are outstanding.
The folding lines and the patinas and stain in the tesaki part are rather prominent.
Discolorations and the stains in the otaiko, maegara (A) and blank part (B) are not so disturbing.
It has other flaws.
