This is a silver shiny
fukuro obi with luxurious 'housouge' (imaginary flower in China) and 'hana-bishi'(flower diamonds) pattern, which is woven.
Lots of silver threads are used, and its technique is called Saganishiki.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has soft touch.
It is well worn.
As the photos and figure show, there are wrinkles and folding lines in places.
The transverse wrinkles in the 'maegara'(front patterned part)and blank part are deep.
The wrinkles in the otaiko are rather prominent. (A)
Also, the folding lines are rather remarkable.
It has some other flaws as photos and figure show. Please check detail photos.
