This enchanting tsumugi nagoya obi has graceful design with 'kiribame'(technique which cuts off some cloth, inserts in another cloth and constitutes a pattern or dyed) technique.
It is elaborately done with sakara embroidery work on the chirimen (crepe) background with sarasa(chintz) pattern.
Textile is tsumugi silk and has comfortable nubby touch.
This piece seems unworn and does not have any conspicuous flaws. It is in excellent condition.
Its sedate color will be easy to coordinate with various kimonos and also suitable for various occasions!
