This is a fabulous vintage chuya obi with such an elaborate embroidery work of Japanese traditional musical instruments and 'kiri'(paulownia) motifs.
Its embroidery work is so dense and thick.
Please enjoy its wonderful embroidery details with more photos.
Textile is silk with gold checkerboard pattern.
It is lined with shusu silk.
Its otaiko end is torn out.
One long kinkoma embroidery of otaiko part is coming off.
It has some other flaws as photos and figure show. Please check detail photos.
We can't say it is in very good condition, but it must be wonderful handicraft material or interior decor!
