This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women by Kansai Yamamoto. Kansai Yamamoto is one of the most famous Japanese contemporary fashion leaders. Its bottom has elegant woven patterns of 'kusudama'(flowers ball) with 'kiku' (chrysanthemum) and
phoenix gracefully. The flowers are embroidered partly.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
Synthetic hiyoku is attached.
The designer's signature is embroidered.
It is machine sewn.
The stitch on the inside of left sleeve is coming loose.
It has some slight flaws such as smudges and discoloration which are unremarkable. For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
As the photos and the sheet shown, it does not have conspicuous flaws and is in excellent condition. It will be a great piece to enjoy its design and suitable for formal occasions.
