This black nagoya obi has a beautiful yellow peony motif, which is dyed.
Textile is sioze silk, and it has soft and slightly textured touch.

As the photos and figure show, it has prominent discolorations and smudges in places.
Also, there are rather small stains in the blank part (A) and the rather slight patinas in otaiko and 'maegara'(front patterned part).
Besides, it has rather prominent wrinkles in the otaiko.(although, the photos and figure don't show)

It is a wonderful nagoya obi, but it is impossible to tie because of flaws.
It must be a beautiful handicraft material!
