This is an ivory gorgeous maru obi.
'Matsu' (pine tree), royal cart, 'tsuzumi' (drum) and fan pattern is beautifully woven.
Gold foil threads are used.
Textile is jinken(rayon) and has soft and comfortable touch.

As the photos and figure show, it has rather prominent smudges in places.
Also, there are folding lines, discolorations and the patinas in the otaiko and 'maegara'(front patterned part) parts. However, they are rather slight and not so disturbing.
Besides, it has other flaws such as small snags and the rather slight stain in the tesaki part (A), but, as a whole, it is in very good condition and it can be tied on antique kimonos!
