This is a silk bolt for tsukesage kimono. Most part is solid pale gray and in seven parts, it has elegant chayatsuji motif, which is dyed. ( It is patterned partly as for making tsukesage kimono.)
Textile is silk and has soft and comfortable touch.
It has some flaws as photos and figure show.
However, it must be an excellent handicraft material!
