This appealing
nagoya obi has bold cloud pattern made up of kanoko dots dyed with
shibori (tie-dye) technique.
Textile is soft rinzu silk with damask effect of flowers on 'sayagata' (arranged swastika) pattern.
Its belt part is mostly left open.
It must have been well tied since there is a folding line prominently left.
Also, the silvery base is discolored with patinas.
The corners of tare end is frayed and torn.
The backside has also a few flaws such as stains.
