This is a gorgeous vintage fukuro obi.
Colorful phoenix and 'housouge' (imaginary flower in China) are beautifully woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and comfortable touch.
It has patinas in places.
The discolorations in the 'maegara'(front patterned part) are rather prominent. (such as the sixth flaw photo)
It has rather slight folding lines.
Snags and smudges are not so disturbing.
Please check detail photos.
It is in very good condition for the old age.
It could be tied on antique kimono!
