This is an exotic fukuro obi with unique bird pattern in the black and silver checkerboard pattern, which is woven.
Its bird design is very unique and cheerful!
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft and comfortable touch.
It has some flaws as photos show.
(A) is the slight patinas.
The 'smudge' in the tare end is rather prominent frays, but it is not disturbing because it will be under the otaiko part.
As a whole it is in very good condition and can be tied!
