This is an enchanting vintage haori with delightful 'manju-giku'(manju shaped chrysanthemum) and 'ryusui' (stream) pattern, which is dyed.
The streams have colorful flowers such as kiku (chrysanthemum) and camellias in themselves.
Textile is unique 'hige-tsumugi' silk which has tips of the wefts sticking out here and there.
The sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimonos from pre WWII.
The white places of the pattern have patinas.
As the photos and the sheet show, there are other flaws from its old age.
However, it's still in very good condition overall.
Please enjoy coordinating this with vintage kimono.
