This is a kimono fabric cut into irotomesode shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make irotomesode.
Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.

This piece has stormy wave pattern, which is dyed.
Neat and gorgeous kinkoma embroidery is also partially added.
Textile is soft rinzu silk with damask effect of 'sayagata' (arranged swastika) pattern.

As the photos and the sheet show, patinas are spread over the pattern.
Still it can be an excellent handicraft material.
