This is a
nagoya obi with 'shippou-tsunagi' (jointed four circles) pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
It has patinas in places and especially, the patinas in the wrong side of otaiko part are outstanding. (A)
The dyestuffs in the wrong side of the above of otaiko are not disturbing.
As a whole, it is in very good condition and it could be tied on antique kimono!
