This is a green nagoya obi.
It has gorgeous gold foil threads 'kikko' (tortoise shell) pattern, which is woven along with hana-bishi(flower diamond).
Textile is comfortable touch.
The smudges in places and frays in the tare corners are rather outstanding.
There are stains in places and especially, in otaiko and one side of 'maegara'(front patterned part).
The stains in the otaiko (A) and the tare(C) part are slight, but rather large.
The stain in the otaiko part(B) are rather prominent.
Please check detail photos.
It is a nice
nagoya obi but, it is impossible to tie because of flaws.
It must be a wonderful handicraft material!
