This vintage summer
nagoya obi has tasteful
Nanban trade scenery pattern, which is woven.
Between the clouds, decorative 'nanban-sen' (ships used in Nanban trade) can be seen.
Textile is transparent sha of silk, and it's soft.
Silvery threads of the kaikiri lines about the tare end are loosened and coming off.
The otaiko (square bow) area has remarkable stains such one in photo (A) and (B) .
There is also a large serious stain near the maegara (front pattern) area. (X)
As for other damages, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
With many serious flaws, this piece seems no longer wearable.
Still this unique design well represents Japanese vintage culture!
