This is a vintage men's haori.
Its lining has a dramatic woven picture of samurai warriors in battle.
Juding from the kamon (family crest) on the flag, it seems to be a scene of
Heike-Monogatari.
The kamon of gentiana leaves and flowers is assigned to
Seiwa-Genji, which suggests the samurai at the center must be
Minamoto no Yoshinaka.
Outside textile is habutae silk and has soft and very smooth touch.
A name of the previous owner is dyed on the backside of the collar.
There are vague whitish stains, and the 5 crests are discolored over age.
The most serious flaw is the one in photo D which looks as if burned with some chemical stuff, although it's only on the lining.
As for other damages, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
