This is a vintage maru obi with wonderful shokkou-mon with dragon and phoenix pattern, which is dyed in the both sides.
Its design is as if it was painted by color pencils!
Textile is sioze silk and has soft touch.
Because of its old age, it has slight flaws as photos show. There are frays in the corners and background part has slight patinas.
Gold dyestuff seemed to be added, but they seem to be fully missing.
As a whole it is in very good condition and it can be tied!
