This is a
fukuro obi with exotic 'karabana'( imaginary Chinese flower) pattern with gold foil threads, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Both ends are open, and it does not have a stiff lining inside.
It has rather remarkable stains in the blank part.
The stains in the wrong side are not so disturbing.(A)
The stain in the otaiko part is also not prominent.
The folding lines are rather prominent.
Please check detail photos.
As a whole, it is in very good condition.
If the both ends are sewn, it can be tied at formal occasions!
*To complete as a wearable obi, additional $50-$60 is needed.
