This is a tasteful tsumugi kimono with its background gradated with multi-colored wefts.
Textile is tsumugi silk and has soft and nubby touch due to the thick tsumugi yarns used in the wefts.
There's no 'doura' (upper part of lining), and this piece only has hakkake (lower part of lining).

Faint but noticeable patina-like stains such on in photo A can be seen here and there.
There are other flaws including discoloration as well.

It must be an excellent handicraft material!
