This is an antique cotton noren.
The name of the store is dyed out white ( there is not characters, which means what they sold).
It is from early Meiji Period(1868-1912) or earlier, and its fabric is hand spun and hand woven elaborately. Textile is thick and has soft and comfortable touch.
It has beautiful deep natural ai color.
It has some flaws as photos show for its old age, but there is not serious damage, and it is in very good condition.
