This is an antique furoshiki with bamboo leaf kamon, phoenix and 'shou-chiku-bai'( pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) design, which is dyed with tsutsugaki technique.
Textile is rather thick cotton, and has soft and comfortable touch. It must be hand spun and woven cotton in early Meiji period(1868-1912) .
It also has fabulous natural ai color!
It has some flaws as photos show. However, there is not prominent flaws, and as a whole it is in very good condition.
