This is an antique furoshiki with kamon, 'shou-chiku-bai'( pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom), takara and other designs, which are dyed with tsutsugaki technique.
Textile is medium thick cotton, and has soft and comfortable touch. It must be hand spun and woven cotton in early Meiji period(1868-1912) .
It also has fabulous natural ai color!
It has some flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
