This is a vintage michiyuki coat with a beautiful design.
Dramatic peony pattern is dyed with shibori technique.
Textile is silk with damask effect(monisho), and has soft and comfortable touch.
Beautiful grain and hollyhock pattern is woven.
It has some flaws as photos show.
Shoulder folding lines have slight smudges. The patterned parts have slight discoloration.
The third hook is coming off(the third one). The second hook is missing.
The seam of left sleeve ( front side, between the outside and inside fabrics) is unpicked.
As a whole it is in very good condition.
