This is a contemporary
fukuro obi woven with Min-tsuzure technique.
As typical of Min-tsuzure textile, its patchwork like 'kiribame' pattern is delicately woven with thin threads.
The patches have exotic 'karabana'(imaginary Chinese flower), and the golden background adds to its elegance.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
This piece might be unworn.
However, as the figure shows, discoloration can be seen along the folds.
The discolored folds above and below the otaiko (square bow) pattern will be hidden when tied.
