This is a 'zentsu'(fully patterned) fukuro obi with charming birds, butterfly and flower pattern, which is woven.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
'Gunpai(referee's fan) mark can be seen in the tare end. So it is woven by Kawashima Weaving co.
Stiff lining is not added inside.

It has some flaws as photos and figure show.
There are some slight discoloration also in the otaiko and maegara(front patterned part) parts, but they are not so disturbing.
It must be perfect obi for antique kimonos!
