This is a magnificent susohiki with eye-catching design - genjiko(ancient Japanese game incense game) and wave motifs are dyed with elegant touch!
It was owned by a geisha in Kyoto.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and comfortable touch.
It is not lined.
Susohiki literally means `trail the skirt' and this particular kimono is much longer than other kimono. This is worn to do the elegant dance with a folding fan in the Japanese style drawing room.
It has a repaired hole in the left front (C) .
It has whitish stains by frays in the left front (B) . It has more several similar stains in the lower part, although we don't check in the figure( sorry! ).
However, as a whole it is still in very good condition, and we think it can be worn.
