This is charming purple nagoya obi with shippou-tsunagi pattern, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.

There are stains, patinas and discolorations in places. Most of them are small and not so disturbing but, several stains in the otaiko and tare part are rather remarkable.
In the Otaiko part, there are prominent stains and patinas.
Also, there are tears in the tare corners.
There are other flaws as the figure shows.
We can't say it is in very good condition, but it must be wonderful handicraft material!
