This is a fabulous antique kimono jacket.
It is from early Meiji Period(1868-1912) or earlier, and made of FANTASTIC cotton fabric.
It is thick and has soft and comfortable touch. It must be hand woven with hand spun Japanese cotton!
It also has deep natural ai color.
To know the most original Japanese ai dyed cotton, this piece is one of the best samples!
It has some flaws as photos and figure show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
