This is an elegant vintage maru obi with decorative paper fan pattern, which is woven .
The fans have various motifs on themselves such as 'tsuzumi'(Japanese drum) and 'kicho'(partition used by noble people in ancient days).
Textile is jinken(rayon) and has rather stiff touch.

Patinas can be seen on the ivory background.
There are also other flaws overall which make you feel the passed years.
