This is a vintage haori with wonderful design - peony and 'genjiguruma'(wheel of royal cart) pattern is woven with urushi and metallic coated threads, and the background part is dyed with shibori technique all over.
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Textile is silk with damask effect(monisho), and has soft and smooth touch.

Because of its old age, it has some flaws as photos show. However, they are not disturbing, and as a whole it is in very good condition.
