This is a luxurious vintage maru obi with wonderful design - alluring cranes pattern on 'seigaiha'(wave) which are woven boldly.
Lots of gold threads are used and the combination color with orange thread are a exquisite. This piece has exceptionally gorgeous atmosphere.
Textile is jinken(rayon) and has medium and textured touch.
As you can see the photo (A), it has a slight stain and slight smudge in the photo (B).
Because of its old age, it has some snags and fray slightly but at the same time it is a exquisite art work with a lot of gold metallic thread.
