This is a vintage nagoya obi with charming leaf pattern, which is thickly painted with pigment.
Textile is black shusu silk and has soft and smooth touch.

As the figure shows, there are frays at the tare corners( they are becoming tears there), on the otaiko (square bow) area and near the tare end.
Also, frays can be seen at the tops of the triangle above otaiko and on one side of the maegara (front pattern).
The pigment is cracked and a little peeled off along the edges of the maegara.
Please check detail photos since they're in the areas that come out when worn.

It has wonderful design, but it seems not to be worn.
