This is an eye-catching opened obi - 'kiri'(paulownia) pattern is woven colorfully in the shiny brown background, which is woven with urushi coated threads.
Textile is jinken(rayon) and has soft touch.

It has some flaws as photos show.
There are frays ( peeled spots of urushi coated threads) at places, and they are prominent.
We can't say it is in very good condition, but it must be wonderful handicraft material or interior decor!
