This is a kimono silk fabric cut into Furisode shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make furisode. Furisode is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
It has beautiful chrysanthemum pattern, which is colorfully dyed. Many parts are added embroidery.
Textile is silk with damask effect(rinzu), and has soft and smooth touch.
It has some flaws as photos and figure show. However, it must be an excellent handicraft material!
*You need a lining fabric to sew Furisode from this fabric. And sewing Furisode is very difficult, and it is a work for professionals.
